INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

PAINTING STUDIO INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY TIME CHANGE AND VISIT FROM LIBERTY AND DRAGON AND FRIENDS OF
Liberty soared so elated by International Women's Day that she nearly missed the Milky way. Only some 400 billion stars or so. She was counting them on her feathers, still in joy. When she saw the Sun out of a corner of her eye. The Sun her favorite star! Earth her home in the the world that created Liberty. She shone all about in a burst of stardust and stepped softly from the sky and touched the Earth ever so tender and silent. Rather like a myth touching reality in a dream. Where one wakes up in a dream, some years later and in the dream one wakes and the dream is the same. Counting feathers, wondering, Liberty woke the Dragon.
Or the Dragon woke Liberty. These things are not for me to decide. Though a small partof this, I am just passing through.
Liberty said to the Dragon, her wings extended then drawn arms outsteached and fingers reaching.
" Dear dragon, I do not understand about this time change.".......Pause. Liberty was thinking. Sun rise Sun set. Day time night time. And Said.
" Dragon, is this about daylight savings time? WTF these people created us."
Liberty was getting a bit terse.
As Liberty is wont to do when the Dragon does not respond.
Then Liberty shouted! " Is this about the GREENING?"
Dragon deep in the Earth.
Blinked his eyes. Smiled.
Thought about the green dragon pun and turned his clock ahead for Spring.
Liberty just laughed out loud in a burst of stars and saints
Painted in the Milky Way
Counting billions of
Feathers in the Sky.
In the mean time.
Do what you can do and do it well.
